How Long Do Pest Control Services Take?

Depending on the type of pest control services needed, time for the service will vary.  Home size may greatly influence the amount of time needed to properly take care of your problem.

However, there are some general ideas of how long your service may take.  These indications do not include pre-service communications or inspections, and they are not a guarantee.

  • Insects & Spiders – An insect and/or spider treatment will likely take 1 to 3 hours.  Your technician will arrive with the necessary equipment.  He or she will spray the exterior barrier of your home, around window and door frames, and near any other suspect areas, which may include the interior.  This treatment is usually repeated quarterly.
  • Rodents – There is no accurate timeframe for rodent control services because you will likely require follow-up treatments to be sure the pests are gone.  If traps or bait will solve your rodent problems, they can be set up quickly.  If you have moles or voles, we may recommend a fumigation service.  This is much more complicated and may take longer.
  • Mosquitos – Mosquito treatments can be done fairly quickly.  We use attack and prevention measures to eradicate the problem.

These are general expectations for pest control services.
